Quick and easy solutions are available for you in the NETGEAR community. Don't use ndiswrapper, there are Linux native drivers for the Netgear WG111T. As for the internet connectivity, I have a Netgear WG111T USB wireless adapter, that works flawless under Windows XP. I actually got to the point of frustration and gave up, but don't let that stop you, as I'll be interested in knowing the results of this!
