Remember that OUI is bugy! Since I was running Windows 7 64-bit, the default ODBC Admin tool only shows the 64-bit drivers. How do I run the 32-bit ODBC administrator in a 64-bit environment?

You have to be very persistent to force it to point to the primary Oracle Home, but after 4-9 attempts you will succeed. This problem occurs on pc's where the April 2011 patches have been applied. Now the trick here is this: You HAVE to launch that tool as Administrator in order for the registry information to be written out and displayed in the ODBC Tool.

To clean this up, you will probably have to go through some manual process since a de-install never cleans everything up.
